They’re open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner and Sunday for dinner, and they take reservations for any size parties. Bertha Miranda's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina serves the finest Northern Mexican Chihuahua-style homemade dishes. The large menu contains all your traditional favorites and a variety of combo plates, including vegetarian. All cooking is done with corn or soy oil, making it vegan, vegetarian and heart-friendly. Delicious specialties include several seafood options. Bertha's serves breakfast and lunch specials daily. Kids eat Tuesday dinner free. The full bar is ready to serve a frosty beer, Michelada, margarita, or any other favorite beverage. Based at the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa and open to the public, Bundox Bocce is a 22,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor fun zone with seven indoor bocce courts plus billiards, arcade games, Ping Pong, table shuffleboard and eight big-screen TVs for sporting events. The full bar serving drinks and food ranging from appetizers and salads to burgers, sandwiches and handmade Pittsburgh-style pizzas. Outdoors there are more bocce courts, dog-friendly patio seating and a picnic area with a fire pit. If you don’t know bocce, it’s an addictive, easy-to-play game in which you toss and roll balls toward a target ball. The atmosphere at Bundox Bocce is family-friendly, and the food menu includes kid-friendly options. For private events, they offer two event rooms, one with a private bar.

Tucked away in a nondescript area of E. Second Street is IMBĪB Custom Brews, one of Reno’s popular microbreweries. More than 20 brews are available on tap at any given time. Old-world-style, barrel-aged beer is their specialty, but they also craft hoppy and malty ales and fruit-infused sours. There's a beer for every beer lover here. Other than a shuffleboard table, this is a traditional, industrial-style taproom and is all about beer and conversation. Pints, growlers and crowlers are all available. And don't miss out on IMBĪB's additional taproom in Sparks in the Outlets on Scheels Drive. 

Opened in 1980 by Viennese pastry chef Josef Pasa, this bakery has grown to become one of Reno's premier bakeries with its own full-service cafe. The bakery is famous for its fine pasties, morning buns, cookies, pies, breads and more. They also make wedding, specialty party cakes and petit fours and have gluten-free, sugar-free, nut-free and dairy-free options for those with food allergies. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch seven days a week. Coffee and tea, French toast and waffles, crepes, Benedicts, omelettes and more are favorites in the morning, while soups, salads, deli sandwiches, chicken Schnitzel, German bratwurst, chicken pot pie, crepes and much more are favorites for lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. 

Lead Dog offers an authentically fun and rowdy brand of flavorful, creative beers with genuine Reno pride. They releases more than 30 different regular and one-off beer batches annually, each showcasing eye-catching label designs by local artists. Lead Dog's Downtown Brewery has an industrial barn atmosphere and operates in partnership with their Sparks Taproom and production facility. Entertaining live music, art shows, trivia nights and food trucks in the outdoor courtyard all go along with tasty craft beer to anchor central Reno's Brewery District. The facility can be rented for private parties and events.

With two locations in Reno and one in Sparks, Piñon Bottle Co., “Nevada’s beer authority,” is a bottle shop and beer bar that encourages curiosity and discovery of craft beers. The Sparks location serves delicious wood-fired pizzas, charcuterie boards and an array of small plates. The Midtown Reno location is next to Noble Pie, and Piñon customers are welcome to bring their food into the bar. The South Reno location has food truck pop-ups every Friday and Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. and every Sunday afternoon. Piñon offers a full spectrum of beer styles, traditions, regions and flavors poured from an ever-changing selection of bottles, cans and taps. Their Cicerone-certified bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations if you're overwhelmed by the choices. From well-known brews to small-batch craft beer to specialty wine and ciders, they have something for every palate. Reno's Midtown District is a success story in itself. Schussboom Brewing offers a large selection of craft beers brewed on site as well as wine, cocktails and delicious food like wings, pizzas, salads and sandwiches. Indoor and outdoor seating are available.
