Stop in ti IMBIB Reno to enjoy two new sour beers for the taproom. On the left is our Black Currant and Cherry Candy Cigarettes. We call it a gateway sour. Bursting with fruit, vanilla and sweetness from milk sugar. On the right is a rare old keg Abiogenesis #9. This is a wine barrel aged sour that went through secondary aging on white nectarines.

These two beers are complete opposite of each other in process. Both are real sours with the bacteria doing the work on the fermentation side and are living. We do not kettle sour at this brewery. Candy Cigs is stainless only and takes about 2-3 months to make. Abiogenesis is long term barrel aging and takes 2-3 years before we blend and serve.
