Peg's has long been a staple of the Reno breakfast scene. Started back in 1999 by then-recently retired husband and wife restaurateurs, Peg's has garnered national acclaim with awards and magazine features for having one of the best breakfasts in the country. With popularity rising, Peg's has since expanded, and the fleet of eateries even includes a couple in Southern Nevada. In Northern Nevada there are four locations in Reno, one in Sparks and one in Carson City. Come in for a classic breakfast of oatmeal or eggs, or perhaps go all-in on a skillet breakfast like Peg's Glorified Huevos Ranchero. If you're feeling particularly hungry, order the famous Hawaiian Loco Moco (ground chuck with rice, gravy and eggs).
