Festively decorated El Adobe Cafe sits in the heart of Reno's Midtown district. Open from mid-morning until 9 or 10 pm, depending on the day or season, you can enjoy all three meals, and take out is available. The menu has a variety of salads, appetizers, soups, traditional Mexican entrees and even hamburgers. The house specialties include chicken mole, fish, shrimp and steak dishes. Of course there's a kids' menu with Mexican and American choices. You can pick just an entree or a side dish from the sides section of the menu if you prefer something closer to a snack than a meal. Traditional Mexican sweets populate the desserts. Monday through Friday lunch specials are less than $10. The full bar features El Adobe's award-winning margaritas plus wines and domestic and imported beers, and happy hour is held Monday through Friday.
