Winter in Wonderland Steampunk Expo and Ball
High Desert Steam and the Wilbur D May Center will present the Winter in Wonderland Steampunk Expo and Ball, taking place at the Wilbur D May Center and Ranch House in Rancho San Rafael Park on November 16 and 17, and featuring live entertainment, authors, art, music, dancing, workshops, museum entry, vendors and more.
High Desert Steam is proud to bring Elizabeth Emmerson and Kristen Foggie to Reno for first time to teach Victorian costuming techniques and we are excited for the return of Emcee Strangely Doesburg and DJ Khaleesi. Winter in Wonderland welcomes people of all ages, with costumes admired but never required.
Expo runs 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm Sunday. Ball runs 7 pm to 11 pm Saturday. Presell tickets are $10 per day, $15 per weekend for the Expo. $25 for the Ball. $39 for a combo pass. Buy at www.highdesertsteam.com. Door tickets will be 10% more. Kids 12 and under are free with adults.
