Let's Warrior Up Against Child Abuse
April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, a time dedicated to preventing child abuse across the country, including within Native American communities. The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony’s Human Services, Behavioral Health, Victim Services, and Community Health Clinic are hosting two important events to bring attention to the challenges Indigenous children and families face, particularly regarding past trauma and social issues. These events aim to raise awareness, provide support for families affected by abuse, and promote healing through resources that honor Native traditions.
Join us in taking a stand and working together to create safer environments for our children.
