Handbuilding Pottery: Make a Sushi Serving Set
Join us for a hands-on pottery class where you'll explore the art of creating a unique, functional sushi serving dish! Guided by local ceramicist Kim, students will learn basic and advanced handbuilding techniques. You'll create a piece that's as beautiful as it is functional!
Throughout the class, students will create their own sushi plate and dipping bowl, balancing aesthetics and usability. Kim will offer personalized guidance to help bring your design ideas to life, and walk you through the tips and tricks of creation.
Shortly after the course ends, the instructor will add the finishing touches, including firing and glazing your handmade sushi dish, and deliver it back to you.
The instructor for the class will take your pieces home themselves to fire them, and then return your creation!
