Hand-Stamped Holiday Cards Workshop
Create your own unique, hand stamped yuletide cards with Caitlin from Root N' Wing Studio. In this class, you will carve your own simple, reusable stamps, and create stunning seasonal cards!
Your stamps can come from your own designs from home, or some simple designs that will be provided. Think snowflakes, yule trees, ornaments, holiday lights, holly, and more!
Then, we will use our handmade stamps to make a small set of greeting cards, so you can share your art - and some holiday cheer - with your loved ones. Caitlin will also bring a variety of her own stunning hand-carved stamps, so you can create a holiday masterpiece.
This class will teach you some basics on transferring images to your block and carving your images. Plus the process for mixing ink, rolling it out and printing on paper. We will get our hands on rubber block medium, carving and cutting tools, brayers, barens, ink and more.
You will leave this class with a set of reusable rubber stamps, a set of greeting cards, and some basic block printing knowledge.
You can also add the Speedball Linoleum Carving Kit to your ticket, and take home the set of tools you'll learn to use during the class!
All skill levels welcome! This class is beginner friendly, and will teach anyone to carve simple and stunning designs.
