Reno Arch Celebration
Let's party like it's 1987! The Reno Arch Refresh Project is complete. Join us on June 25 for the Reno Arch Celebration as we celebrate the refreshed look as well as the history and significance of past Reno arches.
Come dressed in your best 1980s costume to celebrate the refreshed Arch (the current version of the Arch first debuted in August 1987). "The Biggest Little City in the World" slogan first appeared on the arch 89 years ago on June 25, 1929.
The event, which starts at 8 p.m., will include:
-Music from the Whitney Peak Hotel balcony provided by EPIK Weddings & Events
-Countdown and lighting of the Arch
-The #BiggestLittleSelfie (at approximately 8:30 p.m.). ?
-Fireworks courtesy of Lantis Fireworks and Lasers
Road closures will begin in downtown Reno around 6 p.m. Be sure to arrive early to claim your spot under the Arch!
