Event Description:
Hoping you’ll save some time on Wednesday, August 21, as the team at Urban Roots officially unveils its Teaching Kitchen to the public. (We are working to provide a Spanish speaker for interviews). This project was conceived in 2019 and delayed by a host of complications (pandemic, contracting hiccups, etc.). The nonprofit is eager to showcase the outfitted facility and discuss the multiple ways the kitchen will be used in programming and workshops in the months ahead. Urban Roots leadership will discuss the project’s timeline, contributors and the ways in which the community can now participate and benefit. Guest speakers and demonstrations to be confirmed as we approach the date.
