Join us our second annual Book Fest! This is a free, family-friendly inaugural celebration of books, creativity and community in Downtown Sparks! This festival will celebrate northern Nevada’s literary community with more nearly three dozen local authors, poets and illustrators representing a wide range of genres, including children’s books, regional nonfiction, romance and psychological thrillers. Event highlights include book readings, genre-themed raffle baskets, books for all ages and a kids activity area. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local writers and illustrators, purchase books and learn more about the creative voices contributing to northern Nevada’s literary scene.
