Since his first appearance on the David Letterman Show at 20, Bobcat has built a thriving career as a writer, director, actor, voice actor, and stand-up comedian. He’s starred in numerous HBO/Showtime specials, toured worldwide, and even opened for Nirvana. Bobcat is known for his roles in "Scrooged" with Bill Murray and as Zed in "Police Academy."
Bobcat has also become an award-winning director, working on TV shows (Jimmy Kimmel, Chappelle’s Show, Community), feature films (World’s Greatest Dad, Willow Creek, God Bless America), and documentaries (Call Me Lucky, Joy Ride). His films have played internationally, and he has been honored with the German Independent Honorary Award.
Additionally, Bobcat has directed numerous stand-up specials (Patton Oswalt, Marc Maron, Iliza Shlesinger) and is currently working on a narrative film adaptation of "Call Me Lucky" with Judd Apatow. He now lives in the Illinois woods with his girlfriend, Nora Muhlenfeld, their five cats and numerous duck friends.
