Zero Prostate Cancer Run/Walk
Urology Nevada, a comprehensive urology practice in northern Nevada, is joining Oncology Nevada, a cancer center providing treatment for patients with a wide range of diagnoses, and Surgery Nevada, an ambulatory surgery center providing urological care, to orchestrate the 2024 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk. The event honors prostate cancer survivors while remembering those lost to the disease and encouraging men to be vigilant about their own health. Further, organizers will offer free prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screenings to individuals who sign up at the event and to be redeemed in September at Urology Nevada in an effort to demonstrate both the ease and the importance of screenings in helping identify prostate cancer.
While the event is free, participants can raise money that will be directed to the ZERO Prostate Cancer organization, a registered nonprofit working to make prostate cancer testing more accessible in the country and the communities of each Run/Walk location.
