Gamblers anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from a gambling problem.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop gambling. There are no dues or fees for Gamblers Anonymous membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. Gamblers Anonymous is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any cause. Our primary purpose is to stop gambling and to help other compulsive gamblers do the same.

The mission of the Northern Nevada Veterans Alliance is to serve and connect veterans in the Northern Nevada region by facilitating connections to community resources, organizations, and businesses to foster a strong community of assistance and camaraderie for veterans and those seeking to support veterans. We aim to empower veterans and their families while honoring their service and sacrifices.

We are a local 501c3 made up of local veterans.

One Truckee River is a collaboration of public and private partners working together to realize a Truckee River that flows clean and clear, quenches our thirst, sustains the river’s natural ecology, cultural resources and wildlife, and connects residents and visitors to unparalleled opportunities for recreation and regeneration.

The Reno Rodeo is a non-profit organization that hosts over 140,000 fans each year to keep the wild west traditions alive. With 10 days full of classic rodeo events, there is something for everyone. Come on down to the Rodeo! 

Since 1948 Sky Tavern ski area has hosted America’s oldest and largest non-profit ski and snowboard program for kids. Available to all children, including those from economically disadvantaged families and those with disabilities, the program is run entirely by volunteers, mostly parents, who instruct and work in supportive roles. The mission of Sky Tavern is to provide a safe and fun family environment in which kids may learn, develop confidence and gain a lifelong love of outdoor sports at a reasonable price.
