Evolution of the Corvette
“The Evolution of the Corvette” exhibit covers all 8 Corvette generations over 70 years, including the Museum’s 1953 Corvette Series 2934 Convertible, previously owned by John Wayne.
The Corvette is America's most iconic sports car, which is why it will likely be the first sports car produced continuously for over a century. The National Automobile Museum is celebrating its 70th anniversary with “The Evolution of the Corvette” exhibit, which covers all eight Corvette generations over 70 years, including the Museum’s (C1) 1953 Corvette Series 2934 Convertible, which was previously owned by John Wayne. Only 300 Corvettes were produced in 1953, its first production year.
