Tucked away on the north side of the university campus is the Nevada Historical Society, the state's oldest museum. Not only does the facility offer programs, exhibits, conferences and educational collections, but also it has a number of research departments, including a library, artifacts, photography and manuscripts. Admission to the museum is just $5 for nonmember adults, and there is no fee to visit the museum store or to use the research library.
