Winter Snowshoeing Expeditions
Check out our fun opportunities for exploration of the Reno-Tahoe area on snowshoes this winter! We have multiple different programs for people of all ages: Snowshoe Saturdays for students aged 8+, Tot Snow Trots for kids aged below 7, family guided hikes, days for homeschoolers, and will offer field trips for any private/charter schools that want to reserve a day. We will be hiking in various areas, mostly around Mount Rose Highway.
Our guided adventures will involve fun activities to learn about adaptations, ecology, natural history, and snow science.
Events will all start at 10am, and go either until 12pm or 1pm. Covid protocols will be strictly enforced.
WE PROVIDE SNOWSHOES!
Costs are $20 per person, and we have 75% scholarships available.
