Starting out in Chicago's alternative-punk scene in 1999, Rise Against has been building a steady legion of fans with each album release and subsequent tour. From their 2001 debut, The Unraveling, to the knockout success of their 2006 release, The Sufferer & The Witness, to the politically-charged ferociousness of their latest album, Wolves, Rise Against have steadily climbed the ranks of hardcore rock stardom.

Californian skater punk band Pennywise reinvigorated the hardcore punk sound during the grunge-era 90s. Their fast and furious sound, imbued with catchy hooks and upbeat lyrics, became the soundtrack for skaters and snowboard enthusiasts around the world.
