Event Description:
In this four-session class, students (ages 10+) will learn to draw interesting and expressive characters through facial expressions, hair, costume, and different poses. Each week, students will explore different techniques that allow students to find their own style, working on basic drawing skills needed to create a successful comic. We will go over character design as well as set and environment design. This class is grounded in drawing and sketching through all of these processes and taught at the student's skill level. This class will work with beginning students as well as students who have taken the beginning class before or have prior experience and wish to expand on their cartoon drawing knowledge.
